FIT FOR FAITH

Discover the Joy of Healthy Eating and Exercise

Author Diana Anderson knows her stuff when it comes to the rudiments of health and fitness. A certified personal trainer, she brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to this subject. Even with scores of books available on this topic today, this book sets itself apart from the others by giving attention to the fact that our bodies are where the Spirit of God dwells.

Along with pages of meal plans and illustrated workout routines, chapter headings such as "A Time to Every Purpose: Glorifying God in All We Do," "Remember the Sabbath: If God Rested, You Should, Too!" "A Might Muscle: The Astonishing Power of the Tongue" and "Beyond Flesh and Blood: The Importance of Spiritual Armor" will remind readers that this is no ordinary health and fitness book.

What Diana has compiled is a tool for women (young and not so young) who know that a successful fitness program has to take into consideration the inside of the body as well as the outside. In the section titled "Keep Your Temple Tidy," she writes: "Sickness is often a result of our own negligence when it comes to taking care of our bodies. The mistake stems from the notion that we own these temporary tents of flesh and can therefore treat them however we see fit—or unfit, shall we say. We know by now that we are not our own and that God commands that we glorify Him in our bodies (1 Cor. 6:19-20).

Fit for Faith contains lots of great content, along with charts, lists and illustrations. Nuggets of information called Faith Facts and Fit Facts are sprinkled throughout. This book is an excellent way to boost an ongoing health regimen or kick off a brand new program.

Diana Anderson earned her personal training certification from the Cooper Institute in Dallas, Texas. She is currently working as a trainer in Tyler, Texas, and has a passion for helping young women find their identity in Jesus Christ and embrace their bodies as dwelling places of the Holy Spirit. Diana has been interviewed on The 700 Club, and has also been a guest on several radio broadcasts, including Changing Worldviews with Sharon Hughes, Radio Liberty with Dr. Stanley Monteith, Take Five! with Eddie Baiseri, and Rapture Ready Radio with Matt Buff.

THIRSTING FOR LIFE AND REALITY

Set Your Heart On the Fullness of God.

First-time author Karl Loescher addresses the lack of genuine power in the Body of Christ in his new book, Thirsting for Life and Reality. The author clearly lays out the Lord's plan of full salvation intended for every believer and provides detailed information and descriptions for each stage of growth. He explores the areas of justification, sanctification, and glorification, revealing their true meaning found in scripture.

Thirsting for Life and Reality describes the believer's inheritance in Christ. The author takes readers on a journey about what God is going to do in the earth and through His people. He believes God is revealing that which has been hidden from the heart of man and that He is creating a sound scriptural understanding of His heart and His intention for mankind.

Loescher, a passionate believer for more than fourteen years, notes that believers are falling into sin and corruption because they have been offered crumbs by the church and are sent home lean. He believes this has brought a lack of the "fear of the Lord" and people are doing that which is right in their own eyes. In his book, he elaborates on people's need to be fed the meat of the Lord's Table and be given clear direction where to go. Readers will discover their longing for a deeper relationship with the Lord and how they can fulfill their need.

A passionate believer for more than 14 years, Loescher says the Word of God always precedes His manifestation and that God reveals His secrets to His Prophets first as scripture tells us. He believes that currently the Lord is revealing deep hidden truths from scripture that a deeper manifestation may take place in His Body. He also feels a prophetic message is being sent forth to create a great searching of soul and mind, striking at the heart of the need in believer's lives.

While Karl Loescher did not grow up in a Christian home, he gives all glory to God for this book. Shortly after his conversion, the core of this book began to grow in his heart and over the past fourteen years it has become firmly rooted. God takes His message and the messenger and weaves them together like a piece of cloth. Karl resides in British Columbia, Canada.

THE DIVINE CODE FROM ONE TO 2020

book cover of Divine Code by Steve CioccolantiYou cannnot have a relationship with numbers, but you can have a relationship with the God who invented numbers. The God who wrote the Bible is unique in that His divine codes are hidden in the Bible, in our anatomy, and throughout the universe.

Steve Cioccolanti addresses the uncertainty that many of us face with regard to the End Times in this fascinating study of the meanings of numbers in the Bible. In his balanced, even-handed approach, Cioccolanti does not claim to predict the date of the Second Coming, but instead provides information to help each person form his or her own conclusions about the End Times.

The Divine Code from One to 2020 is a Scripture-based, carefully researched explanation of the presence of numbers and patterns throughout history. Cioccolanti encourages the search for understanding of the relationship between numbers and words in the Bible and prophecy. The author demystifies numbers and sequences found in the Bible, including both the familiar—"7" and "666" for example—and the lesser known, as well as crucial past and future dates.

Stimulating, thought-provoking and highly practical, The Divine Code from One to 2020 shows us how to apply the meaning of numbers to enhance our own lives in order to ultimately help us fulfill our purpose in life: to prepare for eternity.

Steve Cioccolanti, B.A., M.Ed. is a Christian author, and pastor and president of Discover Ministries in Australia. DON'T MISS THE RAPTURE

Are you ready?

Author and international lawyer, Dr. Cynthia Wallace, tackles a subject of much interest and debate in her new book, Don't Miss the Rapture. Dr. Wallace clarifies—and at times confronts—some controversial Rapture theories of the church, and weighs them against the totality of Scripture.

The author explores the intense unrest and suffering around the globe that has many people convinced that we are living in the last days. There are many theories about the return of Christ and the Great Tribulation, but what does Scripture tell us about these events? Don't Miss the Rapture offers a sense of clarity in order to unify and bless the body of Christ, and prepare us for the rapidly approaching eschatological events. Dr. Wallace provides Scripture-based critical analyses of dates and time frames, and explains the distinction between similar terms that are often used interchangeably, including the difference between the Rapture and the Second Coming.

Don't Miss the Rapture encourages readers to continually keep an open mind and a seeking heart as the final day approaches, inspiring believers to do all they can to help bring lost souls to Jesus before it is too late.

Dr. Cynthia Day Wallace is an international lawyer with a B.A. from Mt. Holyoke College and a PhD from Cambridge University. She has traveled and lectured widely in her professional field of international economic law and has lived in Paris, London, Vienna, Geneva and Washington D.C. Her last position was a diplomatic post at the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe in Geneva. While in Geneva she co-founded an international church, where she served as an elder and intercessor. She continues prophetic worship for Geneva, Israel and the nations in a 700-year-old church overlooking the famed Mont Blanc. With virtually every nation on the earth having a diplomatic presence in Geneva, prayer over that city effectively reaches around the world.
